Content Removal (Notice & Takedown)
This policy is provided for information and is being finalised with legal counsel.
Who Can File a Request
- Rights holders (e.g. copyright or trademark owners) whose rights are infringed by content on ElefyMove.
- Individuals affected by content about them, such as defamatory statements or personal data posted without consent.
- Government authorities and law enforcement acting under lawful authority.
How to File a Request
- Use the in-app Report button on the content you want removed.
- Or email [email protected] with the subject line "Content Removal Request".
How Requests Are Handled — Two Tracks
ElefyMove processes takedown requests through two separate tracks, so official orders get a dedicated legal/operations channel and user complaints get a fast, predictable response.
Track A — Public & User Complaints
Complaints from users, rights holders, or affected individuals, filed via the in-app Report button or by email. ElefyMove targets review and removal of content found unlawful within 24 hours of a validated complaint, consistent with the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society's 2022 Notification. Every complaint is logged (received, reviewed, decision) as part of ElefyMove's compliance record.
Track B — Official & Court Orders
Orders from courts, the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society, police, or other competent officials, submitted per the form annexed to the Notification. Email [email protected] with the subject line "Official Takedown Order" — a dedicated legal/operations channel, separate from user complaints. ElefyMove complies within the timeframe the order or applicable law prescribes.
What to Include
- The URL or another way to identify the content.
- The reason for the request and its legal basis (e.g. defamation, personal-data violation, copyright/trademark infringement, unlawful content).
- Your name and contact details.
- A good-faith statement that the information you have provided is accurate.
- For official/court orders (Track B): the order or case reference number and the issuing authority.
What Happens Next
- ElefyMove reviews the request.
- Content reviewed under Track A and found to be unlawful or in violation of ElefyMove's policies is targeted for removal or blocking within 24 hours of a validated complaint; content under Track B is handled within the timeframe the order or applicable law prescribes — per the Computer-related Crime Act B.E. 2550 (2007), as amended, and its subordinate notifications.
- The poster may be notified and can respond through the Counter-Notice process below.
- Repeat infringers may have their account suspended.
- ElefyMove cooperates with lawful orders of courts and competent officials.
Counter-Notice (Voluntary)
If your content is removed, you may submit a voluntary counter-notice to [email protected] explaining why it should be restored. This is not a statutory requirement. ElefyMove reviews counter-notices and notifies you of the outcome; content may be restored if the original basis for removal no longer applies. Submitting a counter-notice does not guarantee restoration.
Ratings Disputes
Requests to dispute a rating or review score follow the process in ElefyMove's Ratings Policy, not this page.
